Hybrid to Zero 2026 Conference, taking place in Oslo, Norway, on 11–12 March 2026, is the leading event dedicated to hybrid and zero-emission solutions for the short sea shipping sector – including ferries, Ro-Ro, RoPax, and feeder/container vessels.
Over two days, the conference will bring together shipowners and operators at the forefront of decarbonisation, alongside shipyards, technology providers, fuel suppliers, classification societies, port authorities, and financial institutions. Together, we will explore practical strategies and real-world case studies for reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and meeting upcoming regulatory requirements while ensuring operational and commercial viability.
As maritime electrification becomes a crucial pillar of the transition to net-zero emissions, regulatory pressure and technological innovation are driving the sector toward cleaner, more efficient operations. From battery-powered vessels to hybrid propulsion systems and fully electric port infrastructure, electrification is set to redefine the future of maritime transport.
The agenda has been structured to feature a variety of individual sessions and panel discussions, offering attendees the opportunity to delve into the sophisticated aspects of maritime electrification & hybridization and the challenges associated with decarbonisation within the supply chain. Each session and panel discussion will conclude with the Q&A session.
Who will attend:
- Ship Owners & Operators,
- Battery Providers,
- Fuel Cell Manufacturers,
- Port Authorities & Terminal Operators,
- Alternative Fuels Producers,
